A Study on the Improvement of Wing-Level Maintenance Management to Ensure Flight Safety for Aging Fighters Using Data Science Methodology
자료요약
One of Military aircraft characteristics is operated long beyond originally design life goal due to economic or policy demand. In general, for long-term operation, military aircraft safety is promoted with modification, structural assessment, etc. however, as the number of countries and military aircraft operating the same model decrease, technical support through manufactures or international technical support organizations is expensive. In addition, there are restrictions on flight safety, such as the occurrence of new defects and sharing of measures. Accordingly, this study proposed a plan to improve wing-level maintenance management using data science methodology to ensure flight safety of aging long-term operating fighter jets.
